Diese Ausgabe des Filmprogramms ist für viele Sherlock-Holmes-Fans kein guter Film. Jedoch schauen wir uns heute das Filmprogramm dazu an. Auf dem Frontcover von Sherlock Holmes und das Halsband des Todes sieht man im Vordergrund den wunderbaren Christopher Lee als Sherlock Holmes mit Lupe und Pfeife. Im Hintergrund sind zwei Figuren aus dem Film abgelichtet: Senta Berger als Ellen Blackburn und Ivan Desny als Paul King.
Wie bereits bei den vorherigen Filmprogrammen finde ich die Schriftarten und das Design der Vorderseite außerordentlich gut gelungen. So ist der Titel Sherlock Holmes und das Halsband des Todes in drei Schriftarten aufgeteilt. Ersterer Teil ist etwas an Horror angelehnt, zweites eher fett-gedruckter und der letzte Teil eher verschnörkelter. Auch hier sind die Details absolut gelungen. Sogar das “des” in Sherlock Holmes und das Halsband des Todes hat noch einen Anstrich bekommen.

Dreht man das Filmprogramm um, so kann man sofort erkennen, um welche Figur es sich handelt: Mrs. Hudson, die hier von Edith Schultze-Westrum gespielt wird. Natürlich gibt es wieder die fiesen Scherze von Sherlock Holmes… Oder warum hängt in dem Braten ein Messer? Unten gibt es dann die Information, dass das Filmprogramm von 1963 ist.
Innenteil.
Klappt man das Filmprogramm auf, so wird man sofort von einigen Szenen des Films erschlagen und sollen die unterschiedlichen Facetten des Films widerspiegeln. Links gibt es die üblichen Angaben der Schauspieler und in der Mitte dann noch eine Zusammenfassung des Films, die hier wieder sehr detailliert und von massiven Spoilern behaftet ist. In der Zusammenfassung finden sich wieder einige witzige “Übersetzungen”/Formulierungen. So wird z.B. Watson als Mitarbeiter beschrieben! Auch erfährt man, dass Moriarty eigentlich Archäologe ist und eine prunkvolle Villa besitzt. Gerade die Szenen im Innenteil finde ich sehr gut gewählt und an dieser Stelle möchte ich die wirklich gute Wahl der Szenen hervorheben.
Insgesamt betrachtet finde ich das Design des Filmprogramms sehr gut und kann sich über den (aus meiner Sicht) mittelmäßigen Film hinwegsetzen! Leider ist das Papier ein wenig glatter als die älteren Filmprogramme!!!

This issue of the movie magazine is for many Sherlock-Holmes-Fans just a bad movie. But despite the mediocre movie, we will have a look at the movie magazine. On the frontcover of Sherlock Holmes and the Neckly Necklace you can see the wonderful Christopher Lee as Sherlock Holmes with a lens and a pipe. In the background you can see two characters of the movie: Senta Berger as Ellen Blackburn and Ivan Desny as Paul King.
As in the previous movie programs, I really like the font design! The title Sherlock Holmes and the Neckly Necklace consists of three different fonts. The first is rather in a horror-style, the second more bold and the third more curly. In this fonts, the overall design is just great. If you have a look at the “des” in Halsband des Todes, there is even a brushstroke. Nice details!

If you turn around the movie program, the Sherlock-Holmes-fan can immediately see: Mrs. Hudson, who is portrayed by Edith Schultze-Westrum. Of course, you can the see the funny jokes on Mrs. Hudson in this picture. Or why is there a knife in the roasted meat? On the bottom of the magazine there is the publication date: 1963.
Inside.
If you open the movie program, you are flashed by a lot of different scenes of Sherlock Holmes and the Neckly Necklace, which should reflect the facets of the film. On the left, you have the cast and in the middle the summary of the film. Again, as in the other movie programs, the summary contains a lot of spoilers and basically tells the whole story. In the summary you can also find some funny descriptions: Dr. Watson is described here as a staff and friend of Sherlock Holmes! You also get to know that Moriarty is an archaeologist and has got a big villa. I really like the inside of this movie program and I really like the selection of the scenes!
Generally speaking, I really enjoy the design and can easily surpass the mediocre film. Unfortunately, the paper is smoother than the other older movie programs!
